Tip of the Week- Storing Fresh Herbs
Fresh herbs are essentially cut flowers…store them that way! When you bring home fresh herbs from the market simply trim the stem ends 1/4 of an inch and place in a glass or vase of fresh water. The herbs will keep for over a week as long as they have ample fresh water.

An easy way to clean a blender…rinse out excess food product from blender. Fill blender no more than ½ way full of warm water. Put app. 1 teaspoon of dishwashing soap into blender. Place blender onto motor with lid on loosely. Turn on to low and pulse. Water will foam up washing down sides. Be careful not to use too much power as lid will pop off. Rinse under hot water and dry.
