Jalapeno Lime Shrimp Appetizer Recipe
Jalapeno Lime Shrimp Appetizer
1 pound pre-cooked large shrimp, peeled
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons Olivelle Hatch Chili Olive Oil
4 tablespoons Olivelle Jalapeno Lime Balsamic
Salt and black pepper to taste
Skewers for grilling (if grilling)
In a large bowl, combine the minced jalapeno pepper, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, Olivelle Hatch Chili Olive Oil, and Olivelle Jalapeno Lime Balsamic. Mix well to combine.
Add the pre-cooked, peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl with the marinade. Toss the shrimp until evenly coated with the marinade.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours, to allow the shrimp to marinate.
If grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.
Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper to taste.
Grill the shrimp skewers for 1-2 minutes per side, or until they are slightly charred and heated through.
If not grilling, arrange the marinated shrimp on a platter and serve at room temperature.
Serve the Jalapeno Lime Shrimp Appetizer immediately while still hot, garnished with additional cilantro leaves and lime wedges, if desired.
